Hi my name's Lisa. I have a 4year old special needs child. He has a traumatic brain injury from a car accident. He is mentally & physically disabled as well as blind.
I take alot of strain coping with what has happened to my little boy. I'm looking to meet other parents with special needs children or just moms who can offer support. I am also planning a family picnic day for special needs families in dec if anyone is interested.
I am also looking for a full time carer for my son so if you know of anyone who may be interested in any of the above please contact me.

Hope to hear from anyone.

Hi my name is Wilna ,my son was disabled in a car acident 5 years back
got some brain damage ,can't use his R arm and R leg restricted functions ,at least we got some surgery on his face done and he looks a lot better. You know you will get the strenth to cope even if you don't always feel like that. And one day when your child smile at you and you get a warm feeling in your haert you know all the strugeling is worth it.Just stay strong and never alow your child to see that you feel sorry or that you can not cope ,time will show you .
Keep well
Wilna

My name is Chantal, after 14 years of marriage I finally fell pregnant with my little boy, the day He was discharged from hospital the Paeditrician called me aside and told me my son has a rare syndrome which effects both his mental and physical developent. Wade is now 3 years old and has done very well. Even though he is not quite able to walk or talk he is pleasant and brings us much joy.
I would love to make contact and interact with other Parents who have perhaps been through similar challenges. I would love to encourage and be of assistance should you wish to meet .

We are resident in the Northern Suburbs in Cape Town, my email address is ***********

Stay positive.
