| I would recommend using Apple's Logic. If you want to save some money you can get started on Garage Band...buy some of the plug ins. |

Hi
I use FL Studio...it is easy and does not use alot of memory.
Even simple cheap controllers work well on it.
Version 8 allows you to record audio |

| I can also recommend Apple's Logic. It's a little expensive but it offers a lot of features you could really use when you compose electronic music. It depends on the style you're into and your ambition, e.g. if you plan to release the music in a way or another. |

| Fruity loops has a very average Audio conversion engine- licks balls in other words. Ableton Live, Reason, pro Tools is all you need. Pro Tools is a bit of a stretch for most people so Ableton handles even the worst sound cards pretty well. i usually have reason rewiring into ableton or if im at work with pro tools id have them both rewiring into protools. A midi controler by my side and its a for away with a banging track! |
