Hi Alley,
Oh we have fun simply just watching our cham in and around his enclosure.
To be honest he is a rescue, a little boy had him and poor little 'George'
was getting mishandled. I knew nothing about him. Omg so much research and the right equipment. But to be honest in the long run he (lol hope he is a he) is so worth it, but we are still learning.

That's fantastic Unity. Whilst I am fascinated by chameleons I must admit to being rather ignorant about their care Do keep us updated on George (lol or maybe Georgina) |

|
|
I have a hooded rat named B.E.E and an albino rat named Cliff-hanger.
These rats don`t have a cage as i use them as a local cleaning service as im a person that always leaves socks and stuff in my room.
When i go home my room is spotless, not even a paper laying around. My 2 rats put everything in my cupboard therefore all i do is sort everything out from there, rubbish in the bin and clothes in the wash
Its getting a bit out of hand because now they go into the laundry basket to get clothing, and they are taking everything. E.g Pens, tooth brush, soap, shampoo, even a book. The funniest thing is i once walked in them pulling my jeans into the cupboard bet they never saw me so i observed and it is amazing what strength they have and how they work as a team.
Rats are truly intelligent rodents and they are very affectionate, they love to be held and a back rub puts them to sleep, it is so sweet how we wake up in the mornings. each of them sleep on either side of my neck.
But i know what you are all thinking, where do they poop and pee.
Yes, they have a litter box which they use all the time.
Im divorced so a get to see my 4 year old son every second weekend and when he is around the Rats wont leave him alone, they adore him.
But they are so naughty when my boy is sleeping, they wake run over his head and try wake him purposely. When he wakes up they run down the bead till he falls asleep then start their nonesense all over. But its a laugh. |

|
|
We have...
1 small breed - sniff ... "Pavement Special" dog called Missy ± 5 years old
5 Dwarf rabbits (called One, Two, Three, Four and Five).
1 Indian Myna Called Tim (for obvious reasons) - rescued from a baby.
± 50,000 meal worms (an on-going colony we've had for about 10 years).
1 "Pad-looper" tortoise (rescued from becoming a meal to some weirdo).
± 10 different species of wild bird that live in a huge tree in our back yard.
± 4 medium to large ghekos that have the run of the house, and back yard
± 7 Rain spiders / Violin spiders (live outside but ocassionally seen inside.
We did have a swarm of bees in our lounge (in an observation hive), but the people that moved into our house liked the "ornament" so much, and begged us to leave them, which we did Gosh that was REAL therapy to watch after a day at work. We used to enjoy playing games to see who would spot the queen first.
We love our pets, and couldn't imagine what it would be like without them.
It would be great to hear from other pet owners.
Regards
Zebbie and family |

Two whippets - both 'rescues'
Whippets have 2 speeds -
1) zero .....with a capital zzzzzz
2) f.....ferrari fast
In between they're either being cute or counter-surfing (which is really very cute too)

We have a boy and a girl maltese, small type who are spoilt rotten. They are our kids, just costing us far less! They are always up to mischief, clever in their own special way and they are sharing our bed!
Then we have an Indian Ringneck who is cute and extremely intelligent. He only talks to his dad, ignores me, but occasionally talks to the dogs. He gets very jealous when the dogs try to steal his alone time with his dad. |
