Hallo everyone,
I want to buy a Scarlet Macow. As far as i know this birds are about R10000.00 each, but i came accross an ad on the internet that someone is selling them for R2500.00
This does not look right to me.
On the website it sais he is located in Guateng ( Pretoria), but when i emailed him he said he lived in Port Elizabeth.
Please if anyone can give me advice on what to do. I really want to buy this Macow.
This is the email he send to me.
Hi,
I am giving one for R2500 this fee includes delivery. So
will you take one or both and they are 5 month now?
My babies are well socialized and come with a health guarantee, DNA
papers, vet reports and lots of free accessories. They are Hand
Tamed. They are known as the best talker of the parrot family, and
studies have shown that this highly intelligent birds can actually
understand and properly use human language to communicate with their
owners which we have started training them on that. They can live a
long time; anywhere from 30 to 70 years! These intelligent birds
require a great deal of time and attention from their owner, and are
not content to just be left in their cage. They love to talk, learn
tricks, play and be cuddled, and tend to break into happy (and noisy)
songs at least twice a day.
Regular wing and nail clipping are
required to maintain them, and daily cage cleaning is a must! If you
are considering becoming the proud owner of this fascinating
creatures, it is important to be certain that you have the time,
devotion and facilities - both financial and environmental to properly
care for them for many, many years. They aren't for everyone, but if
you are lucky enough to own them, it can be the experience of a
lifetime! we are here long after the adoption to support you if you
need help.
We feed them with leafy greens, stems, flowers, flower vegetables, and
fruits of flowering vegetables, for these are very good source of
parrot food. The best part of them is that, unlike other birds, they
can eat whatever healthy food that we eat, as long as the food does
not cause allergy and sensitivity problems.
When feeding them also make sure the food contains the correct amount
of cholesterol and calories reading. You should also make sure to avoid
foods such as chocolate, caffeine, alcohol, kidney beans, Lima beans
and avocados, because these foods are specifically very dangerous to
Parrots. When you follow this rules, you will keep your birds healthy
for the rest of their lives.Am located in PE ,
Should you want to proceed, get back for more details on the courier.
Best Regards
