Any ads placed by the above companies who are "Looking for people to become Junior Sales Executives" is bogus & a scam at its worst. They target anyone who is desperate for work & especially those who have not had positions for very long. They have the audacity to post Cell C & MTN logos on their website - hopefully these are not their client cause I would not be happy endorsing this company! Mad you can view their website ***********. All looks legal but do yourself a favour by searching on the directors names. Also CIPRO where their status is "Deregistration Process". A ist of Registration and Deregistration dates also shows.

An article posted on Google by someone who was taken in by these people says: :

I was recently recruited by ********) Ltd which sell an sms service to companies. It is a division of Mouldmed which is run mainly by a guy named Gert A Theron snr...(who was indicted in the USA for a similar scam). But before I knew about the history of the Theron family, this opportunity seemed all too exciting until they started to train and explain what our roles were in the company regardless of our qualification.

To cut a story short, the main roles of the employees were mainly to recruit people, and those that were recruited were trained to recruit more people. Each recruiter would then get a cut for every deal they make as well as on every deal the recruited people make. And more money is earned if the recruited people climb up the ladder to a senior position. SO downlines are created. Very much like a pyramid scheme.

This company is supported by the government and major companies in SA, yet their system is nearly identical to a pyramid scheme which is illegal. They target mainly people with a low education level (min qualification level is a grade 10) and desperate for a job and 'promise' them great career opportunities and a chance to financial independence.

What they told us on the second day was that the sms service constitutes about 10% for their profits. RRR also sell non-conventional advertising space inside their offices. The suggested high demand is due to the continuous influx of job seekers and even some business owners attending the training sessions. They call it a captive audience.

Furthermore, Im not sure how this one would be profitable for RRR, but we were told to build our own customer database consisting of names, cell numbers and locations of people. The suggested way of getting hold of this information was to look in the classified section in newpapers...So when the right time come, one could rent these lists to businesses.

They did not go on further on other ways to make a profit.

I will admit that I stupidly paid R700 to take part in this training. This fee was said to be for a businesskit (R350) that we would recieve when we sign the contract and for a registration fee with the sms service provider (R350)...However, as i understand now...The sponsor who recuited me pocketed R200. Thus changing the whole meaning of this.

As soon as an individual sign the contract he/she becomes a junior sale executive (JSE). At this point he/she is only allowed to recruit people and he/she gets R100 for every deal you make. The minimum requirement to become a senior sales executive (SSE) is to enlist a minimum of 10 people (RRR encourages the individual to recruit more so that they can cover the fee suggest next). He/she would also have to pay for another business kit (R350) and a supervisory, process and admin fee of R1500. (keeping in mind that when this happens, his/her sponsor get a break a fee of R250.) They boast on the system calling it the BNU break a way system which is said to be copyrighted in Aug 1990. The SSE conducts ongoing recruitment and starts selling to businesses, either by selling the sms service or recruiting them to be part of their downline.

In addition, the main idea I gathered from the 3rd day of training was that we needed to be strategic/manipulative in our approach towards the interviews or selling the service. For example, for recruitment process.

The aplication process goes like this:
1. 1st interview; 2. invited to business opportunity meeting (BOM); 3. 2nd interview; 4. pay R700 and attend 3day training 5. sign contract

The BOM was said to be for the senior management to inform us more about the company. However, the real deal behind this is that it does 80-90% of the work for the recruiter (this was stated by Raymond Thomas - deputy CEO). Otherwise, if you get untrained people suggesting that applicants must pay R700 at the 1st interview no one would sign up. So, the R700 was mentioned after hours of personal, motivational and inspirational speeches in the BOM. One message from Gert Theron snr at this meeting was that if you want to be successful in life you have to make a plan (to get the R700).

Very manipulative.

I should have taken better notes but one thing that was mentioned by Rudi Rebstein was that RRR and SARS are working together as RRR is helping SA bring in more and registering tax payers.

SO how legit is RRR? Being part of a very unstable Mouldmed Group and headed by a man who was convicted of fraud...does this even matter?

This Company have been placing Ads for more than 2 years now and I immediately became suspicious when I noticed that they are focusing on unemployed people or those who haven't finished school. Like the poster above said, the website and everything else look legit. Even Gumtree reported back to me that they have found this Company above board when I flagged their Ads. It is a pyramid or multi-level scheme where people who attended the "training" have to recruit new people in order to make their money back.

The Ad below, is just one of the hundreds being posted on Gumtree every single day. Mostly in the General Jobs section. The address given for this Company, is Marais Street, Durbanville.

These SCAMSTERS continue to post various ads with the apparent support of Gumtree SA.

I saw 3 ads this week that I can link with them. I tried to place a counter ad to warn jobseekers. Gumtree SA was quick to inform me that I flouted their rules and my ad was cancelled. Why the can't they act against the known SCAMSTERS ? Just check and found the suspects at Ad ID **********8 ; Ad ID ********
Gumtree - Is the opportunity to make money more important than ethics?

Gumtree want to hide complaints on forums where no job seeker will look!

Did any one refer these SCAMSTERS IN Durbanville and the apparent support they receive of Gumtree SA to the relevant authorities or 3 DEGREE/CARTE BLANCE EXTRA? Please inform me?

@ Anti-SCAM

I think you should continue reporting those ads as they appear, but don't do it via a warning in the ads section. When other people report those ads, Gumtree might filter your warning ad as part of the scam *********ads, and remove it.

Report fraudulant ads directly to Gumtree. Click on Help tab, and at the bottom of that page you will find the Contact Gumtree tab where you can submit a ticket (report Ad). Remember to mention the specific Ad ID's.

I have reported quite a few of the rrr-link ads, and I explained to Gumtree why the so-called jobs that *********offer, are not real jobs, but more like a pyramid or multi-level scheme. That is why you will see those ads popping up frequently, because new members ("employees") have to recruit new members in order to get some money back.

Thanks Always Alert. I'll try my best to contact the relevant authorities and those like Carte Blanche Extra.

I'm not going to waste more time complaining to Gumtree SA anymore; I did complain to them already with no action against ******) Ltd or *******Cool Ltd from their side!

OMW and I thought something was up with these people.
I had an initial interview with Elaine Austin but she kept replying to my emails at night that I would have an interview the next day and I wouldn't check my mails regularly so would always miss them.
I eventually got an interview with Waliet Albertyn for a suitable time and went though. There were loads of people waiting outside to be interviewed by different interviewers. When he eventually called me in he seemed nervous and I had to ask him what the position was for and what the company was about after he'd said thanx for coming through Rolling Eyes
Then I got invited for a 2nd interview at 7am but decided not to go as I was feeling uneasy about the whole thing and I had more important/promising interviews for the same day.
My cousin told me about this possibly being a scam but I thought I'd go check it out either way since I had nothing to loose Rolling Eyes (except the long hour and 15mins drive in traffic that first morning Evil or Very Mad)

And then I thought to maybe check the forum on Gumtree to see if anyone else found these ads suspicious and lo and behold...

Thanks ... now to inform all i know..

My experience with *******Ltd.

I've been unemployed for quite a while before I joined *********Ltd. After sending my CV to ALOT of companies, this was the only company that came back/replied. After I went for my first interview at their head office in Durbanville, I've never looked back. After qualifying the first interview I was invited to come for a Career Information Meeting where the top management actually take time and have a meeting with all of the new applicants. It was, to say the least, Awe Inspiring and I wanted to find out more. Nobody forced me to come whatsoever. I also qualified my second interview and were invited to the training that started the following Monday and I could not wait. When I started my three day training with them I was nervous. I was offered some refreshments and we started afterwards. Those three days was unlike anything I have ever experienced. I worked in various fields before and honoustly, nothing compares to this. Just think, there is alot of people unemployed and companies want experience and or qualifications. Here is an opportunity to prove yourself and it is only your own fault if you are unsuccessfull. People helping people is what the company is all about and somehow that concept is not understood by some people.
Attending the training is free of charge and this does not do any justice to the trainers as they are world class in their own right.
After I successfully completed my training my career began in all earnest with the company that following Thursday. Working for *********Ltd has taught me life skills and people skills.I'm with the company two months and I'm enjoying it. We are family and I'm becoming very successfull.

Sarah -

@ seiman816

Why don't you elaborate on exactly what you are doing at ******- what position are you filling / what type of job are you doing / what is your income per month.

Maybe then we will have more insight in the positions offered by this company. You mentioned that the training was free, while I read somewhere else that a fee was charged. How does this company survive / how do they generate a profit.

Please describe the various fields of jobs available and offered by *****.

How did you land on this discussion forum about ******. Have you perhaps have your doubts too? Wink

Why so agro? You know that you are not sending out a very pretty picture of your company the way you are going on. Usually when someone fights too much they are hiding something.Mikn, did you know that some ppl get fired because of the negative way they portray their company and I also think you need to work on your english. Mine is not so hot but yours really stink.
I received a sms that I have to call ****** at a certain time. I thought that this was out of the ordinary so I looked up the company and also found this discussion Board. I do not feel comfortable with the whole situation so I will be sitting this job interview out. Not to say there is something wrong with they company but just the way they handle things makes me a bit wary.

I have been employed for just over a month at RRR, and as far as all you who are to proud/ignorant or plainly to stupid to PAY for training is concerned, I wish you the success I have at the moment.

..and I hope sincerely you all get to go study or get diplomas/papers or certificates behind your name for FREE.
Personally, I know what training and studies cost as I studied Electronic Engineering, worked in that field, then went for courses in 2D animation, worked in that field, and now currently employed at RRR, I find THIS the most rewarding.

So you don't want to post your name on here, WHO ARE YOU TO BE TRUSTED when the ones doing the work out in the open HAVE NOTHING TO HIDE.

Regards
