I'd like to know what people think about this topic. We bought a toy poodle pup from a "KUSA Registered Breeder" that we had to put down on the 4th day for Distemper which is a terminal sickness that all animals in SA are supposed to be vaccinated for when young. It is also contagious. We've reported them but have not heard from KUSA. SPCA is doing their best. You call KUSA and they give me the womans address but then i hear from others like the Society for Animals in Distress and the like and they say "theres no such thing as a KUSA registered breeder on ly KUSA registered pups. They take money but don't even check up on who they are associated with. Ive met another breeder who says they pay regular amounts to be registered with them and they never check or do anything like that of the sort. These people are freaking puppy farmers putting the poor animals through unnecessary illness and taking the public for a ride. They've got up to 17 adverts on gumtree for different breeds of pups but nothing gets done. Well, Im not giving up. [/b]
